Loch Company is pleased to offer an established, 40-year-old metal fabrication, welding and gas supply business in Franklin, Tennessee, a high-income Middle Tennessee community. The owner-managed operation has been rebranded in recent years as two complementary companies. Both are offered together in one asset sale for $625,000.

Prather Metal Works is a build-to-order fabrication shop. It designs, fabricates, and installs custom handrails and gates; fabricates and installs structural steel; performs custom metal fabrication; and provides repair welding for trailers, trucks, and heavy equipment, both in the shop and on-site. It serves a mix of repeat, one-time, and new residential, contractor, and commercial customers, and no single customer makes up a large share of sales. Projects are quoted and require a 50% deposit. The shop runs on Jobber for job tracking and QuickBooks for accounting.

Franklin Gas + Supply is a local retail source for industrial and medical gases, welding supplies, and steel. It sells, rents and delivers gas cylinders, which brings in recurring revenue with good margins. Its customers include dentists, veterinarians, and individual and company welders.

Combined 2025 gross sales were $1,165,620. The seller’s 2025 recasted net cash flow is $196,016, and the seller projects 2026 gross sales of $1,450,000. The business has 6–8 skilled employees who have been on the job for over 10 years.

The sale includes goodwill, furniture, fixtures and equipment, vehicles and trailers, gas cylinders, inventory, and the business systems.

The real estate is not included. The buyer may lease about 6,700 SF of shop and showroom space in the existing light-industrial building on Confederate Drive. The rent is $8,500 per month for 36 months, with a 3% annual increase. The building was updated in 2020.
